GameShadow Guide

GameShadow is a program that enables you to patch games and drivers on your computer automatically. This way you always stay up to date with the latest releases and fixes. Once setup you shouldn't have to worry if your game is up to date or if you have the latest drivers for you graphics card.
In addition to that it is also a download manager for extras for game as well as demos of forthcoming games.
GameShadow Program
The first thing to do is to download and install GameShadow. You will need to create a GameShadow account to use the program. You can create one on the website when you download the program.
Once done you should have the icon on your desktop.


When you try to add a game or update a driver you will be presented with the login window. This will need to be done to use the program.

When clicking on "Check For Game Updates" button you will tell the program to update its definition file first of all which tells it what the latest version of the drivers it has stored are.


It will then check this against the games that you currently have installed.

Once everything has been checked the above window will be shown. If you have updates that need to be done then you can click on the "Show Updates" button to see what they are.

Here there is a newer patch that can be downloaded. To get it all you have to do is to click the Download button. Generally there will also be a View ReadMe button as well so that you can see what changes there are in the patch.

When downloading the following screen will appear. This will tell what is being downloaded along with how long it has to go.

That’s the basic operations of this program. The more games that you add the more useful it can be. The team is always updating the driver and game database so that more updates can be found.
